In certain instances, commercially available medication is less than a perfect fit for you. This means the dose, formula, and form of the medicine can all be customized to the precise needs of each patient.

Customedico Pharmacy has been formulating and crafting compounded medications for our community since the 1970s. Biofilm management to clear an infection is the most common and preventable challenge in wound healing. The "BioFACTor" Wound Hygiene Program offers a systematic approach to wound chronicity management.

To overcome barriers to wound healing, Follow the FACTs with HealEaz Cleanser and targeted compounded prescription therapy in anti-biofilm base.

Cleanse with HealEaz to wash away any remaining debris after debridement and moisten the wound bed to prep ahead of absorbent wound dressing application. Assess the wound and continue to cleanse with HealEaz at each dressing change to ensure it progresses towards healing. As the wound heals, less debridement and refashioning of the wound edges will be necessary.

Customedico is contracted with most pharmacy benefit plans and our team has experienced pharmacy billing specialists processing your prescriptions. Some insurers offer reimbursement or the option to apply prescription costs to deductibles for compounded claims by submission of compounded medication claim forms. Please contact your pharmacy insurance benefit plan for their compounding claim form or Customedico can provide a universal compounded claim form for your prescription to submit to your plan. Please contact the pharmacy if you desire any assistance.

The NABP compounding pharmacy accreditation program includes a review of business practices, attestation to a code of conduct, and compounding specific requirements. By undergoing NABP accreditation, Customedico Pharmacy + Wellness has met regulatory inspection requirements for non-resident licensure in several states. Given the stringent quality and best practice requirements, NABP accreditation instills confidence in practitioners and patients for continued access and affordability of compounded medications. Customedico purchases all active pharmaceutical ingredients directly from Verified-Accredited Wholesale Distributors (VAWD), the highest seal of approval for FDA-approved medication sourcing. VAWD accreditation plays a pivotal role in preventing counterfeit drugs from entering the US drug supply: it helps protect the public from drugs that have been contaminated, diverted, or counterfeited.
