Why Proper Disposal Matters
Unused medications in the home pose a safety risk. They can be accidentally ingested by children or pets, misused by others, or contribute to environmental contamination when flushed or thrown in the trash.
The FDA recommends using authorized drug take-back programs as the preferred method for safe medication disposal. Customedico is proud to offer this important community service.
Important: Do not flush medications down the toilet or pour them down the drain unless the label specifically instructs you to do so.
